Over two weeks in October 2019, MadLab travelled all over Malaysia to meet the fifteen hubs which were taking part in the British Council’s ‘Hubs for Good’ programme.
The objectives of the visit – and resulting report – has helped to build a picture of the diverse profusion of hubs operating across Malaysia. It charts their progress, challenges, and journeys towards a stronger sectoral resilience, and documents their significant contribution toward the continuing growth of the country’s creative sector.
The report of the situation analysis visit has helped to shape the British Council’s 2020 Hubs for Good programme and activities, and has further facilitated opportunities for growth and learning for and amongst Malaysian creative hubs.
