We've just opened up the Autumn 2025 Shift Click skills programme to applicants from across Greater Manchester.

Shift Click - MadLab's 'not a bootcamp' - has been running since 2019. It has supported hundreds of 18-30 year olds to get into the tech and creative industries. Previous learners have gone onto Autotrader, Co-op Digital, Waters, the BBC, Factory International, FutureEverything, Talk Talk, Accenture - and many more besides.

The new course starts on Wednesday 26th November at Stockport Museum (SK1) and runs every Wednesday and Thursday from 10-3. There's a short onboarding session on the 21st November, and optional online Friday sessions for those wanting to take their learning further.

Shift Click isn't a high-pressure sausage factory. We provide holistic support in a friendly and welcoming environment – making it ideal for people for people in part-time work, those with caring responsibilities, and people wanting to commit to a new skill.

• You’ll be given access to Shift Click’s online Community Hub, and access to 1-to-1 online mentor support from tech industry professionals
• You’ll receive expert employment support – for as long as you need it. Recent learners have gone on to the BBC, Autotrader, Barclays, Comma Press, and Factory International
• Lunch and refreshments are provided
