Come along to our drop-in session for friendly, one-to-one support with the online tools and apps you use to manage your health - or your life.
You can get help with things like:
- Using the NHS App to order prescriptions or view your health record
- Accessing your GP services through Patient Access
- Finding and managing hospital appointments with MyMFT
- Using online systems such as Patchs to contact your GP practice
- General guidance on staying safe and confident using health websites and apps
- Anything from emails, booking holidays, CVs, to finding ways to cut your bills
You don’t need to book - but we ask that you bring proof of address (e.g. a bill, bank statement, or official letter) and proof of UK residency (UK/EU passport, work visa, indefinite leave to remain status, UK birth certificate, or National Insurance number). Rest assured, we will not make a copy of any of your personal data (we just need to see it). The reason we ask for this information? This programme is supported by the Greater Manchester Community Grants Programme and they have asked us to check that everyone supported is eligible.
During the session we will go through everything you wish to learn on a 1:1 basis, in the level of detail and at the pace that works best for you - whether you need five minutes or an hour. If you need more help, we will arrange an additional session with you at a time that’s convenient to you later in the month (online or in person). At the end of the session, we ask for a couple of signatures and some feedback, which takes a few seconds.
How to find us: come to New Bank Health Centre and look for the MadLab banners in reception, where one of their experts will be delighted to help.
